How much does a full skipper training course cost?
Hey everyone! I am comparing different maritime academies for my entry-level skipper license. Prices seem to vary significantly from one organization to another, making it hard to tell what is fair. What is a reasonable rate for a comprehensive course, and what hidden fees should I watch out for before enrolling?

Pricing usually reflects fleet quality, instructor qualifications, and total hours spent on the water. When comparing a sailing course price always check whether the quote includes learning materials, exam registration, fuel, and marina berths. A slightly higher upfront cost often pays off if it guarantees smaller group sizes and more time at the helm during exercises.
