Do3D's 2nd Giveaway
Very new to 3D printing although I've been researching what printer to get for over a year. I recently purchased the Two Trees Sapphire Plus. although i dont have it yet i plan to use it for prototyping some personal engineering projects and some stuff around the house or tools/gadgets for my wife's woodshop. I chose the Sapphire Plus for many reasons and ironically in the time I did my research Two Trees has released the original, S, Pro, and now Plus. each iteration has gotten better and better and those improvements sold me on it. I an a mechanical engineer by profession so when researching a printer I knew I wanted a true core X-Y system. the benefits of it on speed, accuracy, and inertia and well documented and this printer is one of the few at the hobby price point. I have been warned it's not for beginners and a project but that's exactly what I want. I look forward to sharing the printer and it's projects with the community.
