Hi everyone! This is my first proper post so let's see how this goes... I've just finished my Mk39 helmet, it was supposed to be just a test and I ended up going through it all the way haha so I guess I'll keep it as a display helmet!
Made some mistakes with it that even though others can't see, I can! But it's all a learning curve... Next one I know what not to do. I've been trying to be more active on my Instagram and show the process of my builds and tools, so if you want to check that it's @digitalsanity . ( I make and improve in-game props for Escape Rooms so some things might look weird to you haha)
I did a little photoshoot with the helmet when I finished so here are some pics:

Thanks for watching! - Dora
P.S: Anyone else struggling to get LED cosplay eyes? I couldn't wait a month to get some so I did my own here but will change it when they arrive!
What is the impression of the helmet? 100%
It's a good helmet, I've also printed the version with the faceplate which I prefer - definitely easier to print. The best thing about do3d files is that you can still have a good quality strong helmet using only a 5%-10% infill which saves a lot of time! It's uncomfortable but if you add foam it makes it a lot better.
Can you see through with the lenses in place? Debating if I want to order clear filament to attempt it or just try to roll an acrylic solution.
For this one I broke an old keyboard I had and used the clear sheet with the gold patterns and wired some LEDs to it, has a cool effect and you can still see! For other helmets I've used this , which you can see only in a well lit room but they do look really good so I never had to print anything for the eyes. But I believe you won't be able to see if you use clear filament. Clear filament is good if all you want is to have light coming through! Hope I helped
