I printed my very first cat straight onto the glass that came with the CR10s printer and boy did it cause problems haha
I am from South Africa and we don't have all the materials that some Do3Der's got available to them and we normally have to ship accessories and products and that can take up to 6 months so I had to find an inexpensive easy to use alternative.
I use cold glue mixed with water for my CR10S printer mirror (Had it cut my glass that came with the printer was warped and I could not level it proper or get good bed adhesion).
Cold Glue Preparation.
1. Mix the cold glue and water until it roughly resembles skimmed milk. (you do not need a lot)
2. Preheat you print bed to 50°C/122°F
3. Pour the glue mixture over your mirror/glass until it covers the entire surface (Do this over your kitchen sink or similar place where you can clean afterwards)
4. Wipe the sides of the mirror and underneath with paper towel and place the covered mirror/glass on the heated bed please be careful as to not burn yourself and wait for the mirror to dry out.
