Every project i start, I end up abandoning it because I cant find the right fit/scale. I just got Armorsmith s/w and I am planing to start the Mandalorian build. I am a bit short (5'4")....ok not just a bit, i am short.... so i know I have to scale it down . Any suggestions are extremely welcome!!! Don't want to fall into another frustrating project.
I have watched the armorsmith tutorial and read some of the other threads on scaling. If anyone has examples of what % works in the ballpark for certain heights, I could use that as a starting point of reference.
Thanks!!!
Hello, it may help you get started easier if you change the height of the model to yours first. Calculate the percentage difference between our model (normally set to 6 feet) and your height and scale down every piece by that percentage. Video below may help. Then, you can follow scaling tips at https://www.do3d.com/forum/3d-printing-tips-tricks Thank you!
this is great info, thank you.
I was able to find the calculator. I originally calculated %88 and this calculator gave me %88.8...this is great! not bad for eye balling it.
