My personal way..... I would put it in meshmixer, and slice it into 4 parts. That would require little to no supports at all and then welding it together from the inside.

I ended up splitting the helmet up into 4 pieces and they fit my Ender 3. I used Meshmixer to split the model. The top halves above the t-vistor and the bottom halves being the front up to where the rim ends. I suggest you play with it and see how it fits using Cura.
