Magnets for the Flash movie suit build??

Hello everyone!

I'm working on the Flash Movie suit build specifically with the boots shin/calf pieces and the helmet/neck pieces and I'm trying to determine the best sizing for the magnets to be used for it. I tried some 5x2mm ones, but they're too small to hold up the jaw to the helmet. Any ideas??

Hey! I’ve worked on similar suit builds before, and yeah, 5x2mm magnets usually don’t give enough grip, especially for helmet or jaw attachments. You might want to try neodymium magnets around 10x3mm or even 12x2mm — they offer much stronger hold without adding bulk. Also, make sure both surfaces are perfectly aligned and reinforced so the pull stays even.

Thanks for the tip! I didn’t realize the magnet size could make that much of a difference. I’ll give the 10x3mm ones a try — sounds like a solid upgrade. I’ve also been thinking about adding a thin foam layer under the jaw section to help with alignment. Have you tried that before
