Captain Marvel Helmet

I thought I'd share with you the Captain Marvel helmet I printed for my partner.
I printed DO3D's excellent file. It was printed in 2 halves split down the centre, using my CR-10S and black PLA +.
As you can see from the raw print photos, it was super rough. I spent alot of time sanding and filling and sanding again. The back / ear piece is attached using Neodymium Magnets. Once it was smooth to a standard I was happy with, I painted it using metallic automotive paints. Everything was sealed in with a clear gloss lacquer. I purchased some hair extensions, so even when it was sitting on the shelf, it still had that badass mohawk look.
