Pricier
Bed- leveling tricky at first to learn
Loud fans (easily upgradable)
Bed plate material- hard to remove prints from, needs to be upgraded to glass or a wham bam

Filament I have tried
- Amazon Basics Filament white- EXCELENT would highly recommend
- eSun clear filament – ALSO great!
- Layer up black/red – lower quality, do not recommend it
Custom built PC ..of course
- Specs- 1070 ti, 16 gb Ram, i7 – runs and slices FAST – I don’t know how people use Cura with low-end parts, it is expensive so Im lucky I had built one before starting this hobby, and highly recommend for anyone planning on working with STL files lots.
Ryobi Sander
- Still learning this one, I do recommend, will post more on this method in future

Software I use

Cura (of course !) Cura is by far my favorite software to use. -Recommend
- Pro - intuitive, clean, and powerful software
- Pro- tree supports setting is great, save filament!
- Con- odd glitches for adding supports in extra area an avoids needed ones.
- Con- only made for creating g-code files( gosh I wished these guys used this UI for a STL file editor!)
Slic3r - recommend
- Pro- simple to use
- Pro-best slicer available
- Con- clunky UI, takes a tad to get used to
TinkerCad.com - recommend
- Pro - Great to create STL files!
- Con – limited file size
Netfabb – don’t recommend
- Pro – can meause 3d items
- Con – VERY hard to learn and get used to
- Con- measure tool hard to use, hard to make straight points, doesn’t have snapping to point ability
