Huge 3D printing fan!
I'm a very big fan of 3D printing, especially when I see the things other people do, but unfortunately I don't have a printer. Having one would help me start making star wars props or better modded toy guns, but meanwhile I just put stuff together and try to get as close as i can. This is a gun i was modding, but while I was making the optic scope, it occurred to me it might look better as a lightsaber. Now Im just looking for parts to complete it. Pros of doing it this way is you start giving random scraps of anything another purpose and it gives the end product a "raw" feel. Cons is you dont always find the things you need or that actually fit, which affects functionality.
