I use and Ultimaker for my printing and Rhinoceros3D for my designing. The program was recommended by a prop maker I follow and have never looked back. I really find the interface easy to learn and the amount of tools available can be a little intimidating at first but it is lime having a workshop with ALL the tools you would need; you just need to know which one to use.
