3D Printing Workflow
For printing, I am currently using a non-existent 3D printer (see photo).
Pros: doesn't take up much space, super quiet
Cons: print quality/speed is sub-par - I have had this for quite a while and it still hasn't produced a usable print.
I have also been using OpenSCAD for modelling (see below). It's good for quick and dirty creation of 3D models. I like that it creates very reproducible results. Unfortunately, it's not very good at creating detailed/complex models so I'm looking into working with Blender and FreeCad.
