The Creality Cr-10 was my first printer a couple of years ago and has absolutely been awesome. I picked up another one about a year ago and they both have been absolute champs. These printers are good out of the box, but they have the potential to be great printers. Since purchasing these printers I have done some modifications. First, I upgraded the glass beds. They can be warped which will make leveling the bed more difficult. I upgraded the hotends to Micro Swiss all metal hotends. I instantly saw an improvement in my print quality. I would also upgrade the boden tube because it can degrade over time. But I would say those are the needed mods to make these printers produce great results.

Pros:

  • Big print area

  • Easy to fix/modify/upgrade

  • Good quality out of the box, has potential for great quality

Cons:

  • Glass bed comes warped, will need to upgrade bed.

  • Pretty loud when printing, especially with two, but there are mods to quiet them.

  • Takes a decent amount of time to heat up.

I have loved my Cr-10s and I would recommend these printers to both beginners and veterans.

I have attached pictures of prints that have came from these printers:
