3D printing makes you the Guy with gold in his hands
I started 3D printing 2 years ago with one creality Ender 3, which I believed was the most affordable way to enter the 3D printing world.
Since then and a few upgrades, like Octoprint which is one of the best thing to add to your printers, I printed for myself, for friends and family.
This went from silly stuffs, amuzing stuffs, teaching stuffs, props and figures.
So far that printer is a great one to start with ! I wish I could go bigger but that would require more $$, one day hopefully :)
Most of my stl sources are from thingiverse or MyMiniFactory and a few I bought from paying sites.
My slicing software is Cura and since the last versions it improved a lot the quality of my prints on the Ender, no more stringing, easy part positioning and supports process.
For last Xmas I bought myself the Elegoo Mars resin printer it's a wonderfull printer when you want to avoid sanding/finishing process on your details or small parts !!
I would recommand it 200%.
Elegoo slicing software is Chitubox... that's no the most incredible software and require still a lot to work as far as I can see, the auto support process needs more attention.
Also that printer comes with a small bed so you sometimes need to cut parts in meshmixer to make them fit the printing bed.
