My current set up
This is my current set up.
I am running a CR-10s and I have just recently got the CR-10v2. I really love both of these machines. They are easy to work with and easy to work on if you need to fix or upgrade something. On the CR-10 I chose to upgrade the leveling knob, the extruder, the feet on the base, and I added Z support brackets. The cool thing about the CR-10V2 is that all of the upgrades I made on the 10s come standard now. Plus the V2 in incredibly quiet which is nice.
As far as filament goes I have played with a few each with different results. I have done Hatchbox, CCTREE, Zyltech, and Amazon Basics. So far my "go to" is Hatchbox and Zyltech. They just seem to be super consistent and easy to use. I have a couple rolls of Silk PLA I need to try out, I'm really excited to try those.
I have a bunch of files Im working on and Im really putting these printers to work. From full armor sets to helmets I have them working in overtime.
