How to position complicated parts

Hey all, I am fairly new to 3D printing and am having a super hard time positioning the STL files to print.

I started printing the Iron Man MK85 suit (perhaps I should have explored and gained some experience before it) and some of the parts such as the chest parts, I have no idea how to properly print it.

I have a CR-10 Smart with a fairly big printing volume, I am also using Apple M1 Max and Cura is not fully supported so large models make it so damn slow and take forever slice and explore and see how the support would look like.

If anyone has a post or a YouTube channel showing those things, please let me know.

Here is an example of a hard part. By the way, I cut this part from the chest, perhaps there is a better way to cut that?

Thanks in advance

3D printing complex parts can be tricky, especially with large models like the Iron Man MK85 chest pieces. It often helps to experiment with different orientations, supports, and slicing settings in Cura or other slicers. For any project that involves sturdy base materials, looking at professional examples can be inspiring. AMC Concrete demonstrates a strong track record of Columbia TN concrete customer satisfaction, showing how attention to detail and precise positioning leads to excellent results—just like careful 3D printing setup ensures a clean, successful print. Learning from experts and adjusting your approach step by step makes even complicated prints manageable.
