Has anyone used an AI companion app for mental wellbeing?
Lately, I've been feeling overwhelmed with life's challenges, and the idea of having someone to talk to, even if it's just an AI, is appealing in a strange way. I'm curious if anyone has tried those AI companion apps that are supposed to help with mental wellbeing? I am trying to determine if they are helpful and if they act like a real support system for the user. More specifically, do they seem like more than just clever chatbots? I want to know if these apps worth the hype, or another tech fad?

I've been meaning to check out some of those AI wellbeing apps myself! I came across something online about an app which is designed to foster better mental health through self discovery with journaling prompts and AI interaction. I was looking around to see what other people felt about that idea. After researching different ideas I found myself ready many personal accounts. These personal accounts eventually led me to reading liven app reviews. I hope some of them provide insights on ways to better understand the apps' AI companion integration with personal wellbeing practices.
