Best slicer settings to minimize sanding on large helmet prints?

I am currently printing a full-sized wearable helmet and the print quality is mostly fine, but I am spending an absolute eternity on post-processing, filling, and sanding. I want to minimize support scarring and layer lines as much as possible. Does anyone have specific cura or prusaslicer profile recommendations for large cosmetic pieces to save sanding time?

To dramatically cut down on post-processing, you should look into variable layer height settings—keep it thicker on flat vertical sections but much thinner on the curved top dome. I was actually troubleshooting this exact issue last week with my design partner based in Pakistan. We were trying to dial in the settings for a custom armor project. He pointed out that keeping print speeds below 50mm/s on outer walls is a lifesaver for reducing ringing artifacts. While we were waiting for a 36-hour test print to finish, he told me he has to physically walk away from the noisy workshop. His favorite way to kill the anxiety of a long print is to relax with his phone and check sports matches on mostbet pakistan. It completely gets his mind off potential print failures!
