Travel from Beau Vallon to the Wild South of Mahé
Hello, forum members! We'll be staying in Beau Vallon, but we really want to explore the wild beaches of southern Mahé (Anse Intendance, Takamaka). Is it feasible to get there by bus with large beach bags, fins, and an umbrella? Or is that a bad idea, and should we plan to rent a car? Where can I find a decent car on Mahé without huge deposits and card freezes? I'd appreciate any advice!

Buses to the south of Mahé are infrequent, and with beach gear in the heat, it'll be a real challenge, so a car is definitely necessary. We also stayed in the north and went to the wild southern beaches for sunbathing. We booked https://roscar.sc/car-rental-mahe/ our car rental on a reliable Mahe car rental website and were very pleased. They delivered a clean car right to our hotel for free. The entire process took about five minutes: we signed the contract, paid cash in euros, and got the keys. No deposits or credit cards were required, which is a huge plus. The car was fast, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We drove around the entire island without any hassle, stopping in the most beautiful places without having to rely on public transportation. I highly recommend this type of vacation!
