How our evening viewing habits quietly change

I caught myself yesterday scrolling for something to watch and skipping almost everything that felt too loud or intense. It’s strange, because earlier in the day I enjoy that kind of content. But at night, it just feels overwhelming. Do you think our brains naturally switch preferences in the evening, or is it something we train ourselves into over time?

I think it’s a bit of both, honestly. Over time I’ve noticed that I actively look for softer, slower content when the day is ending. It’s like my mind asks for a break without me even realizing it. I’ve started watching

with minimal movement or gentle sounds, and it really changed my routine. Instead of feeling drained, I feel like I’m easing into rest. These videos create a kind of quiet space where you don’t have to think too much, and that’s exactly what I need after a busy day.
