Most options I find are either clearly practice-only or too performance-specific to be practical for everyday studio use. Has anyone found something that works for both?

I've run into the same issue. A versatile setup that balances comfort, durability, and sound quality usually works best for both practice and studio sessions. Even when taking a break with an FNF game, I find that reliable all-around gear is more useful than highly specialized equipment.
