Noob here so go easy, question re the mk 45 face plate
Hi all, just curious, to the outside of each eye space, the mk45 face plate doesn't seem to be joined together, just wondered if that's a design choice or error (just thinking ahead to sanding, that the faceplate won't be as strong as its relying only on the bridge for strength? Sorry if it's the wrong place to post i couldn't find a question button re this model

Good question! I’ve noticed that too on some versions of the MK45 faceplate. From what I understand, it’s more of a design Qwave Beach Gear and choices rather than a mistake, since the strength mainly comes from the bridge area.
