Let’s explore why Do3D made bonus wings (or longer horns) for the Wolverine D3 Helmet.
Let’s explore why Do3D made bonus wings (longer horns) for the Wolverine D3 Helmet. The shorter ones on the left are the original wings. We developed the longer versions on the right in response to requests from some users.
Many references of wings appear to have longer wings than those on the left in our image, likely due to their downward angle.
When you rotate it downwards, you'll notice that it appears longer and nearly matches the length of the longer wings we recently created.
Let's take a look at this from the front view once more.
As you can see, simply rotating the shorter wings downward makes them appear almost as long as the extra-extended wings on the right. We created much longer wings on the right so users can achieve the same look without needing to put their chin down. However, please note that the design on the left is the correct one, matching the official references for both front and side views.

This breakdown is super helpful—thanks for clarifying the difference between the original and extended wings! It's amazing how much of a visual impact a slight rotation can make. Love that you listened to user feedback and gave people more options to customize their look while Magis TV staying true to the original design. Can’t wait to see more behind-the-scenes insights like this.
