mk 43 helmet and armour. part 1.

Hey all! I recently purchased the mk 42/43 suit files and figured it would be fun to blog as I go. I finished the 43 helmet today, I did accidentally drop the faceplate and scuff it a bit so I got to repaint that at some point. imp trying to make my suit electronic free as I'm already disabled and don't want to make that any worse playing with electricity hahah.

I'm deciding if I want to build from legs up or get the bigger parts like the chest and back out of the way. if anyone's done the 42 built before I would love to hear what your build process was like. I've scaled majority of the suit with Armorsmith which I'm hoping will mean parts will fit without the need to reprint and resize, an issue I had with my scrapped 85 build (ill get to it at some point but I like the 42 armour more so this will be the first project). My only concern with scaling is my body proportions, the helmet fit me at 100% scale, room for my ears and ponytail yet I have tons of room in front of my jaw. I used to play footy (football not handegg) so my legs and arms are relatively skinny. Being a woman I need to accommodate for the wider hips and the obvious bulges in my chest, this is having me unsure as to if the chest plate will fit with the abs and back plates properly. I guess there's only one way to find out though!
