Part I: 3D files

As a lesser-known armor, the Mk33 doesn't have nearly as many options out there compared to some of Tony's more popular suits. I had inquired about getting this 3d model commissioned privately about a year ago, and by sheer luck DO3D released their model! I purchased it immediately and got to work.

For this suit, we ended up with about a 110% scale for most of the suit to fit my 6' 3" frame, with slight changes to elongate the leg pieces.

Part II: Printing

First we printed the helmet. The lower helmet and faceplate was printed on our Anet A8 in sections. The "dome" was printed on our Creality CR-10S Pro.

We then moved to the left arm, printing the forearm, bicep, and shoulder pieces.

We are printing the gasket joints in Ninjaflex TPU. This will retain mobility of joints without exposing the undersuit.

Part III: Finish work & Paint

For this build, we've selected House of Kolor after the success we had with Rescue.

The base coat is Apple Red Kandy from their Shimrin Kandy Paint series.

The silver accents will be painted in Orion Silver, a metal flake
